In Romans 8:5-11, Paul highlights 2 things: First, that our mindset matters – it reveals the truth about our nature, it makes an eternal difference, and it unmasks our attitude toward God. Secondly, Paul explains that the Spirit in us means life for us – he helps us understand the Spirit’s identity, and identifies seemingly conditional consequences.
